The Impact range of coloured sticky boards can attract and contain a broad spectrum of soft bodied insects. Regular monitoring of the sticky traps makes early detection of infestation possible. Impact Yellow boards should be used for monitoring aphids, whitefly and leaf miner moths.
Yellow Impact boards attract a wide range of insect pests including aphids, whiteflies, thrips, fungus gnats, fruit flies and leaf miners. These traps are an essential tool for detecting new pest infestations and to assist in decision making.
Monitor every week from the start of cultivation by placing one trap per 200 m2 and recording the number of pests per trap. Hang the traps vertically, with the base about 10cm above the top of the crop, and move them upward as the crop grows. For mass trapping, use one trap per 20 m2 with additional traps every 2 m2 in hot spots. Replace it after 6 to 8 weeks or sooner if it is covered in insects.
